Make these easy and tasty German style apple pancakes for breakfast, everyone will be woken up by the delicious aroma.

Ingredients

cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
beaten
1 cup milk, low-fat
2 cups apples
slices
2 tablespoons butter
or margarine, plus more for cooking
2 tablespoons sugar
¼ teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

Sift together the flour, 2 teaspoon sugar and the salt.

Beat eggs and milk together. Gradually add flour mixtu, beat until smooth.

Sauté apples in 2 tablespoons of butter until tender.

Mix 2 tablespoon sugar and the cinnamon together. Toss with apples.

Melt a bit butter in a 8-inch diameter nonstick skillet over medium to medium-low heat.

Pour in ¼ cup batter, give a swirl to ensure the batter covers the pan completely and evenly.

When set spread ¼ of the apples evenly on top, swirl in another ¼ cup of batter.

Cook the pancake until lightly browned, about 3 minutes.

Flip it over, and cook the other side for another 2 to 3 minutes until browned.

Keep warm on a baking sheet in a 200 degrees F oven.

Repeat the procedure until all the batter and apples are used up.

if you do not saute the apples in butter, you can make this a lighter, and yet, still delicious recipe
