Great, very easy recipe. I'm a horrible cook, but this was so simple and so delicious, that now I can't figure out for the life of me what is the point of pancake mix?

American Flapjacks are a type of pancake popular in the United States. The term "flapjack" is often used interchangeably with "pancake" and can refer to various pancake styles, including thin and thick, sweet and savory, and with or without toppings.
In the United States, flapjacks are often served for breakfast or brunch and are commonly enjoyed with toppings such as butter, maple syrup, fruit, and whipped cream.
What toppings to put on Flapjacks?
They can also be made with various ingredients, such as blueberries, chocolate chips, or bananas, and can be served with various sides, such as bacon, sausage, or eggs.
Directions
Sift the dry ingredients together, add the egg and mix it in until it is almost absorbed.
Add the milk and mix until semi-smooth.
Mix in the melted butter/margarine.
It should make about 5 pancakes 7 inches in diameter.
Use less sugar if you like to use a lot of syrup.

Great recipe, but I agree with only 1 tbsp sugar not 3, also tastes even better with some blueberrys or chocolate chips in there!

Glad to hear that you love these pancakes, and we should test it out too, sounds very easy to make. Good idea that add chocolate chips or berries!
I used this as a guide but adapted it a bit -- I followed the less sugar advice, increased the proportion of egg slightly and added buttermilk powder -- a little over 1 TB. They came out great. Thanks for the recipe.
Sounds delicious, have to make it for breakfast tomorrow.
