An easy yet delicious recipe. I followed the recipe, and used whatever I had on hand. Then just mixed them up, and baked in the oven until the cheese was nicely browned. I let the casserole rest for about 10 minutes, then served it. Overall a great dish.

Comments
This was my lazy way...I did one can of cream of celery soup with chicken (pre-cooked leftovers), cauliflower and sweet potato rice (frozen mixed bag). My extras were a purple onion and minced garlic (yum!). I skipped the sour cream and put about a cup of milk. I only had shredded cheddar cheese so I made that my topping.
LOVE how this recipe is set up!
People always modify recipes and this accounts for a variety of combinations.
I thought mine turned out pretty good, so I will share. This is using leftover thanksgiving food and mixing in a 9x13 dish. I used:
2 cups jasmine rice
Approx. 2 cups chopped turkey
Approx. 2.5 cups leftover stuffing
Approx. 2.5 cups leftover green bean casserole
Broccoli pieces
Shredded cheddar topping (used whole bag)
Sauce I used as recommended. Although I was nervous about adding the cup of water.
Mixed together in dish
Ended up cooking for 1 hour 10 min.
Thank you, the sauce was perfect!
I forgot to say, I used cream of mushroom soup as my sauce maker and in case i wasn’t clear before - I used the recommended cup of water in the sauce...
I did sour cream, cream of celery soup, ham, mixed summer blend of vegetables, Swiss and cobyjack, elbow macaroni. With more cheese on top.
I have made this many times, different ways and my family loves them all Thank! Thank you for sharing the recipe!
This is so fun! It’s my post Thanksgiving go to using up the leftovers. Easy and delicious!
