Ingredients

2 ½ teaspoons yeast, active dry
1 cup oatmeal
2 cups bread flour
1 cup whole-wheat flour
1 tablespoon gluten flour

2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 ¼ cups water
warm
½ cup raisins, seedless
¼ cup nuts
chopped, optional
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

Add the raisins and nuts at the beginning of the cycle or at the "beeps" You may need to add more water.

If the machine seems to strain to knead the dough, add a little more water.

Use the sweet bread cycle, as the sugar and raisins make the crust brown quickly.

Put a piece of foil on top to brown the top crust a bit more.

Note: 1 tablespoon oil can be replaced with 1 tablespoon applesauce.
