Cake Bread for Bread machine

A simple bread machine recipe that will have you making a scrumptious and moist bread your whole family will enjoy!

Low Fat, Low Cholesterol, Trans-fat Free, Sugar-Free, Low Sodium

1 pk yeast, active dry
rapid rise
½ teaspoon salt
½ pk cake mix, yellow
(about 1 cup)
2 ½ cups bread flour
2 tablespoons butter
1 ¼ cup water
very warm

Some people use the Jiffy mix. I've also used this mix, and last time, I used the Duncan Hines yellow cake mix. I liked it just a bit more than the Cakebread with Jiffy. I simply stored the leftover mix for my next loaf.

Add ingredients to bread machine following manufacturers directions.

What setting do you put the bread maker on sweet or quick bread!

After putting all my ingredients in the Breadman machine I realized I don't know which setting to use. I'm going with white bread...hoping it's not a mistake. Which setting are you suppose to use?

I used the white bread regular setting on my 1 1/2 lb --2 lb breadman ultimate machine. The bread turned out beautiful.

This loaf of bread came out perfect. We have used it for toast, grilled cheese sandwiches and grilled with butter and garlic powder with spaghetti...Its the best recipe I have made so far. Wonder if other cake mix flavors could be used for variety.
