Fresh Apple Muffins - Low-Calorie recipe

Low Fat, Low in Saturated Fat, Low Cholesterol, Trans-fat Free, Low Sodium
 

Ingredients

2 tablespoons margarine
soft
2 tablespoons granulated sugar replacement
*
1 large eggs
beaten
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
6 tablespoons milk, skim
1 each apples
peeled and chopped

Directions

Cream margarine and sugar replacement; add egg.

Stir in remaining ingredients.

Spoon into greased muffin tins, filling no more than two-thirds full.

Bake at 400℉ (200℃) for 25 minutes, or until done.

For those who like spices, you may add cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves to the mix - just a dash of each.
