Ingredients

1 pound ground beef, lean
4 slices bacon
½ pound ground pork
lean
½ pound ground veal

1 cup bread crumbs
fresh, wheat
2 large eggs
lightly beaten
½ teaspoon tomato juice
½ cup onions
chopped
½ teaspoon marjoram

½ cup sweet red bell peppers
chopped
*
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
*
½ teaspoon oregano
*
½ teaspoon basil
*
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 x worcestershire sauce

Directions

Mix eggs, breadcrumbs, onion, V8 juice, green pepper and seasonings in a large bowl until well combined.

Add meat, ¼ pound at a time, and mix until combined.

Shape into two round loaves and place two strips of bacon in an X across each.

Place on a rack in a roasting pan and bake at 350℉ (180℃) F for 1 hour.
