Directions
Add all the ingredients to a reasonably sized bowl and mix together thoroughly with your hands until well combined.
Form the mixture into 8 patties, about 2 inches wide and ½ inch thick.
Heat a small amount of oil (just enough to start off the frying) in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Cook until well browned, about 5 minutes per side.
The patties can be made in advance and refrigerated the day before use. Or they can be frozen (sealed in a zipper bag) for up to two months).
Frozen patties can be cooked directly from frozen by extending the cooking time to 8 to 10 minutes per side.
