A breakfast with a little more substance, this breakfast scramble is a healthy high protein, low carbohydrate meal, that incorporates a serving of fruit and vegetable packed all into one whole grain tortilla. With the egg whites, you are getting the benefits of the high protein without the high cholesterol.

59 ml ground turkey
or chicken, browned in olive oil, optional

Directions

Combine the eggs, salt, pepper, and dillweed, and mix in a bowl.

Warm olive oil in skillet and add garlic, and onions to warmed skillet to sautee.

One golden, add the eggs and scramble to satisfaction.

After the eggs are scrambled to your satisfaction, add the chopped tomatoes and cooked meat if desired.

Place in low carb or whole-wheat tortilla.

This is a very high protein, filling, and very portable breakfast for those days when you’re on the go.
