Directions

Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.

Beat in syrup, then eggs one at a time.

Beat in flour gradually.

Fold in nuts (optional). Pour into greased cake pan about 9×13 inches.

They do not rise much.

Bake at 350℉ (180℃). about 30 to 40 mins.

Cut into squares.
