Directions

Pour boiling water over oats.

Add butter. Cover and let stand 20 minutes.

Add all at once sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, baking powder, flour and eggs.

Mix well. Bake in oblong cake pan 30 to 35 minutes at 350℉ (180℃).

When done remove from oven and put topping on right away.

Mix together topping ingredients and spread on cake.

Place under broiler and brown.

Watch carefully.

Let cake cool completely.
