Ingredients

1 cup whole-wheat flour
1 cup bran
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon allspice

2 teaspoons cinnamon
¼ teaspoon cloves
ground

¼ teaspoon ginger
*
1 teaspoon arrowroot flour
¼ cup liquid sweetener
*
½ cup applesauce
unsweetened
2 each Granny Smith apples
peeled and diced
½ cup water
½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat the oven 400℉ (200℃).

Mix the dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately.

Combine them and mix thoroughly.

Spoon into nonstick muffin tins and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown on top.
