Directions

Trim away any excess fat from the sirloin beef and cut into 1 to 1 ½ inch cubes—season with salt and black pepper. If using wooden skewers rather than metal, soak them in water.

In a large bowl, whisk together the marinade; lemon juice, water, oil, dijon mustard, oregano, honey, and black pepper.

Add the sirloin beef cubes, sweet bell pepper chunks and toss to coat with the quick marinade.

Alternately thread the beef, mushrooms, then bell pepper chunks onto four 12 inch skewers, each ending with a beef chunk so that the skewer starts and ends with beef.

How to grill beef kabobs

Place kabobs on the grill, turning every few minutes until cooked to your desired doneness. We recommend aiming for medium-rare. If there are any flare-ups, move the kebabs as needed to avoid burning.

How to broil beef kabobs

Preheat your oven broiler.

Lightly oil a rack and place it onto a broiler pan. Arrange the kabobs on the rack and place them into the oven so that the kabobs are approximately 3 to 4 inches (9cm) from the heat.

Broil, turning at least twice, for approximately 9 minutes for rare, 10 to 11 minutes for medium-rare, and about 12 minutes or more for medium to well-done.
