Ingredients

1 package cake mix, chocolate
swiss
1 cup almonds
chopped

1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 large eggs
½ cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon almond extract

Directions

Super moist, chocolaty and nutty. Delicious.

Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃). Grease 10" tube pan. Combine cake mix, almonds and cinnamon in a large bowl.

First make chocolate cake mix.
Place them all in a bowl.
Now you need these a few ingredients including the cake mix.
Combine cake mix, almonds and cinnamon in a large bowl.

Beat eggs slightly; stir in oil, almond extract, bananas and pineapple.

Add to dry ingredients and mix with spoon; do not beat. Pour into pan. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until a wooden stick inserted in the center comes out almost clean.

Let cake cool in the pan on a wire rack for about 10 minutes. Invert the cake onto the rack and cool completely. If desired, top cake with confectioners'sugar before serving.

Out of the oven.
Slice into slices and enjoy.

Loved how moist and chocolaty this cake turned out. I reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup when I made the chocolate cake mix and added 1/2 cup chocolate chips to give the cake extra chocolaty taste , which really worked well.

Almonds and almond extract both really added the rich almond flavor. I use very ripe frozen banana instead of firm ones, which made the cake super moist. I also pureed 1 cup of pineapple chunks, and then got about 2/3 cup of crushed pineapples, which equals 1 can drained and crushed.

Froze the leftover and it was just as delicious after being defrosted. We served it with creamy plain yogurt, and it worked! Yummy!

We made our own chocolate cake mix, which showed in the No.2 and No.3 pictures in the direction. It is quite easy to make, and significantly healthier than store-bought cake mix.
