This easy version of chicken curry tastes delicious, and it only takes you about 25 minutes from the start to the finish.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons margarine
or butter
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 small onions
chopped, about 1/4 cup
2 cups chicken
cooked, cut up
cup raisins, seedless
1 small apples
red, uncored, coarsely chopped

10 ¾ ounces soup, cream of chicken
condensed
1 can water
measured using soup can

2 cups rice
hot cooked
peanuts
chopped, if desired

Directions

Cook margarine, curry powder and onion in 3-quart saucepan over medium heat about 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until onion is tender.

Stir in remaining ingredients except rice and peanuts.

Cook, stirring occasionally until hot.

Serve over rice. sprinkle with peanuts. 4 servings.
