A simple yet delicious recipe for granola bars. You can ice them with a simple glaze, if desired.

or 1 Tbs. vegetable oil *

Directions

Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃); spray or grease an 11 x 7 baking dish .

In a large bowl with electric mixer, beat butter and brown sugar until creamy, about 2 minutes. Add the egg and beat well. Stir in flax seed or vegetable oil and honey. In a small bowl, combine the oats, flour, cinnamon and baking soda; stir into creamed mixture just until blended. Gently stir in raisins.

Press mixture into prepared dish. Bake for 14 to 18 minutes or until set and edges are lightly browned. Cool on wire rack. Glaze, if desired. Cut into bars.
