The best banana bread ever! So flavorful and addictive, and it has never lasted more than a day in our house.

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
sifted
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
¼ cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup bananas
very ripe, mashed, about three
cup milk
1 teaspoon lemon juice
½ cup walnuts
chopped, optional
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 bag nestle

Directions

Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

Cream butter until light and fluffy, add sugar.

Mix in eggs and mashed bananas to butter mixture.

In a separate bowl combine milk and lemon juice—will curdle a bit. This is kind of gross, but OK!

Alternate adding the wet and dry ingredients to the butter mixture, beginning and ending with dry

Fold in nuts and chocolate, pour into greased bread pan

Bake at 350℉ (180℃) for about one hour, let cool for 10, then invert onto a drying rack.
