237 ml milk

1 each eggs
beaten

59 ml butter
(or 1/2 stick), melted, or margarine

Directions

Get together these a few simple ingredients.
In a large bowl, add the cornmeal.
Add the flour.
Add the brown sugar,
and finally the salt.
Whisk until well mixed.

Mix together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

the melted butter,
and the egg, whisk until well blended.

Combine milk, egg, and melted butter.

Add to cornmeal mixture.

Pour the liquid mixture into the dry mixture.
Stir until just incorporated.

Stir to mix just until moist. Fill 12 greased muffin pans ⅔ full.

Fill 12 greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
Muffins out of the oven

Bake in 425℉ (220℃) F oven 20 minutes until muffins are golden brown.

Cool muffins completely on a wire rack

Makes 12 muffins.

Good! Have a ton of brown sugar and corn meal! I love this recipe.

mine came out a bit dry.

Maybe add a bit more milk next time. Happy baking :)

Much too dry, didn’t rise much, cook time is too long and the oven temp is way too hot :( The taste is ok but recipe needs a bit of adjustment somewhere
