Chopped nougat bars melt into the marshmallow-butter base, creating caramel-honey sweetness throughout these upgraded crispy treats.

Toasted sliced almonds add buttery crunch that plays beautifully against the crisp rice cereal.

The mixture presses into a pan while warm and sets as it cools, cutting into neat squares that disappear fast at bake sales and potlucks.

Kitchen Tips

  • Chop nougat bars finely so they melt evenly into the marshmallow mixture
  • Toast almonds until fragrant and golden for maximum flavor
  • Use a buttered spatula to press the mixture firmly and evenly into the pan
  • Let cool completely before cutting or treats will be too soft and sticky to handle
