This year I switched CSAs, to one that was a bit more fruit-heavy (so I thought). It turns out, this CSA share is 75% fruit, leaving me with a whole heck of a lot of peaches. I had saved this recipe for Oven Roasted Peaches from Real Fit Mama, but it turns out that I totally bungled my grocery list, and didn’t have most of the ingredients.

Old-Fashioned Peach Cobbler recipe

Applesauce and butter together made these muffins super moist and tasty. Used 1 cup whole wheat flour and half cup white flour, and the muffins came out very fluffy. Love pecan topping that added some nutty crunch. Had a few for breakfast, and afternoon snack.

Fresh stone fruits, nutty almond and pure maple syrup make this delicious and fruity bread. Unlike peach pie, this peach bread has a fluffy and crumbly texture, with the maple-glazed peaches on top, it is a great joy to have it.

Enjoy summer with a bowl of this rich ice cream that doesn't take long to make! Great with fresh fruit or nuts.
