Ingredients

2 cups water
cold
1 pound apples
cored, and cubed 3/4 inch
1 pound pears
cored, and cubed 3/4 inch
½ pound cherries
pitted
½ pound plums
pitted
½ pound peaches
and cubed, 3/4 inch
½ cup bread crumbs
soft & fresh
1 tablespoon lemon juice
fresh
1 ½ tablespoons lemon zest
grated
¼ cup raspberry jam
or presesrves
*
½ cup sugar
¾ cup white wine
sweet

1 cup cranberry juice
½ teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

Put the water, cinnamon, lemon juice bread crumbs, and the lemon rind in large pot.

Bring to a boil, then add the fruits, reduce heat, and simmer for 25 minutes.

Purée this mixture in a blender then add the jam, wine, and cranberry juice.

Mix well then refrigerate. Serve when well chilled.

Note: Apple dumplings may be served in this soup.
