Directions

Beat butter and sugar together until creamy.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.

Stir in remaining ingredients.

Pour into greased and floured 1½ quart ring mold.

Bake 350℉ (180℃) for 45 to 50 min.

Loosen edges.

Cool for10 minutes then remove from pan. Cool.

Frost with thin confectioners’ sugar frosting, if desired.
