Addictive Chocolate Crinkles

Ingredients

½ cup vegetable oil Camera
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
4 squares

2 cups sugar Camera
4 large eggs Camera
2 tablespoons vanilla extract Camera
2 cups all-purpose flour Camera
½ teaspoon salt Camera
2 tablespoons baking powder * Camera
1 cup powdered sugar Camera

Directions

Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃).

Melt the chocolate and let cool slightly.

Mix the oil and the sugar together in a medium bowl.

Stir in the chocolate.

Blend in the eggs, one at a time.

Add the vanilla.

Add the flour, salt, and baking powder, mixing well.

Refrigerate the dough for one hour.

Using a small cookie scoop, shape dough into balls.

Roll generously in powdered sugar.

Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes.

Remove cookies to a rack to cool.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
