Ingredients

½ cup granulated sugar replacement
eg. Splenda or equiv.

¼ cup brown sugar
packed

2 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons applesauce

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 each egg whites

½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup whole-wheat pastry flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup chocolate chips
miniature, semisweet

Directions

Heat oven to 375℉ (190℃).

Mix sugar replacement, brown sugar, apple sauce, canola oil, vanilla extract, and egg white in large bowl.

Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt.

Fold in in chocolate chips.

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto un-greased cookie sheet.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet and cool on a wire rack.

This is a real low-fat, low calories chocolate chips cookie recipe, instead of butter we used applesauce and canola oil, also we used half whole wheat pastry flour and half all-purpose flour, and the cookies came out crunchy, fluffy and buttery, and these are much healthier than normal chocolate chip cookies, if your kids bother you to make some cookies, definitely try this recipe, and they will love it!

I made this cookies using this receipe and it came out lovely! Though it was still a little too sweet for my liking, but its chocolately good!
