Ingredients

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup whole-wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup butter
softened
cup sugar
cup brown sugar, light
firmly packed

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 medium bananas
mashed
1 large eggs
12 ounces chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
mini morsels
powdered sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃) F. In small bowl, combine flours, baking powder and salt; set aside.

In large mixer bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract until creamy. Beat in bananas and egg. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate mini morsels.

Spread into greased 15 1/2x10½ inch baking pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cool completely. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Cut into 2x1" bars. Makes about 10½ dozen bars.

VARIATION:

Omit whole wheat flour. Increase all-purpose flour to 2 cups.
