Craving that beachside fried fish vibe without leaving home? This Bahama-style fish fry delivers crispy, golden perfection in just 7 minutes of sizzling.

Fresh fish fillets get a double dose of crunch from pancake mix and Italian breadcrumbs, seasoned up with lemon pepper and garlic salt. The egg wash makes everything stick so you get that shatteringly crisp crust.

Fry them in hot peanut oil until they turn golden and you’ll swear you can hear the ocean waves.

Chef Tips

  • Cut fish into bite-sized pieces for faster, even cooking
  • Shake the bag vigorously to coat every surface with crumbs
  • Keep oil at a steady 350°F for the crispiest results
  • Serve immediately while still hot and crunchy
