Ingredients

Brownie
½ cup butter
½ cup vegetable oil
1 cup water
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
unsweetened
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Frosting
½ cup butter
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
unsweetened
cup buttermilk
1 package powdered sugar

1 cup walnuts
chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃). Grease and flour a 9 x 13 baking pan.

Mix butter, oil, water and cocoa together in small sauce pan. Bring to boil. Add this mixture to flour and sugar and beat until smooth.

Add eggs, baking soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Mix well.

Pour into prepared baking pan. Bake 20 minutes.

Prepare frosting while brownies are baking. Put all frosting ingredients in medium saucepan and heat.

Do not boil.

Frost immediately after removing from oven.

Cut into squares when cool.
