Pan-fried SPAM slices on toasted buns with mayo, crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, and melty cheese. These 20-minute SPAM burgers are the easiest weeknight dinner you’ll ever throw together.

Thick slices of SPAM get pan-fried until the edges turn golden and slightly crispy, then stacked on split hamburger buns with mayo, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato slices, and a blanket of melted cheese.
The whole thing takes about 20 minutes from fridge to table.
Dress them up however you like. Pickles, mustard, hot sauce, grilled onions... go wild.
Chef Tips
- Slice the SPAM thin (about ¼ inch) for crispier edges, or thick if you want that meaty chew.
- Toast the buns cut-side down in the same skillet after cooking the SPAM. The rendered fat gives them incredible flavor.
- Try American cheese for the classic diner melt, or go with pepper jack for some heat.
