Directions

Cook bacon; reserve.

Sauté celery, onions, green peppers and garlic in bacon fat until soft.

Drain okra; add with tomatoes, ketchup and beer.

Simmer until thick.

Add shrimp and bacon. Heat well.

Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Serve with rice.
