Directions

Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, salt and spices.

Cut shortening into flour mixture until fine as cornmeal.

Add all at once milk, pototoes, unbeaten eggs and flavoring.

Beat until smooth. Beat in nuts and raisins.

Pour into a large well-greased angel cake pan.

Bake at 350℉ (180℃) F for 70 minutes or until done.

Cool about 10 minutes. Remove from pan.
