Ingredients

3 squares unsweetened chocolate
unsweetened
½ pound butter
2 cups sugar
4 each eggs
1 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup pecans
chopped, optional
1 x powdered sugar

Directions

Melt chocolate with butter in top of double boiler.

Remove and add sugar.

Let cool and add well-beaten eggs, flour and pecans if using.

Bake in two well-buttered 8x8 inch baking pans at 400℉ (200℃) for approximately 18 minutes.
