Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour
sifted
2 cups sugar
1 pinch salt
optional

1 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
3 tablespoons sour cream
or yogurt, plain
12 ounces chocolate chips
3 squares unsweetened chocolate

Directions

Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃).

Mix flour, sugar and salt together; set aside.

Melt butter with unsweetened chocolate.

Add to flour mixture and stir.

Beat eggs until foamy.

Stir eggs, vanilla, sour cream and chocolate chips into batter.

Pour into oiled 9 x 13-inch baking dish .

Bake for 30 minutes.

Time carefully as toothpick test is unreliable.

Cut into 1½-inch squares.
