Directions
Preheat oven to 400℉ (200℃).
Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg yolks and vanilla; beat well. Sift flour, cinnamon, and salt together.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture in three additions.
Make cookies and brush with unbeaten egg white.
Combine cinnamon and sugar; sprinkle mixture over each cookie.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
