Directions
- To prepare the pie: Spray a 9-inch pie pan with a nonstick spray.
Prepare the pastry shell and fit into the pan.
- Peel the apples, core and slice thinly. Toss with the lemon juice.
Combine with the cranberries, flour, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Pile into the pastry shell.
- To prepare the topping: Combine the brown sugar, flour, butter.
Sprinkle over the top of the pie.
- Place the pie on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated 350℉ (180℃) oven until apples are tender.
Cool on a rack.
The pie can be served with sweetened whipped cream or ice cream.
