Traditional Welsh Rarebit is an open-faced grilled cheese. A thick slice of whole-grain bread is topped with a delicious cheese sauce made from beer, cheese, butter, mustard, and broiled to bubbly perfection.
May use fresh or frozen strawberries, or may substitute other fruit of choice such as blackberries, peaches, etc.
These flaky and scrumptious biscuits goes well with a cup of tea which completes a quick and easy breakfast.
