Ingredients

118ml butter, unsalted
237ml sugar
2large eggs
beaten
237ml all-purpose flour
237ml cake flour
5ml baking powder
2.5ml baking soda
1.3ml salt
5ml vanilla extract
3each bananas
mashed
15ml buttermilk
60ml brown sugar
rounded

Directions

Sift together dry ingredients - set aside.

Cream butter and sugar.

Add eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients.

Add vanilla and bananas.

Lastly, quickly stir in the buttermilk and brown sugar.

Bake in a greased loaf pan about 1 hour at 180 degrees C℉ (180℃) F.

TO MAKE IN A BREAD MACHINE: Place all ingredients in the machine EXCEPT the buttermilk and brown sugar.

Bake on Cake setting. At the sound of the beep add the buttermilk and brown sugar.
