The great Apple Crisp I grew up on! Maybe this is one of the reasons I had by-pass surgery!

Baking apples - sliced, pared, cored

CUP ML BROWN SUGAR, DARK
Packed *

TABLESPOON ML CINNAMON

TEASPOON ML NUTMEG
(optional)

Directions

Heat oven to 350 Place sliced apples in a greased square pan or baking dish 10×6×1½ In a bowl mix ½ cup water and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Pour over apples. Blend in a bowl the remaining ingredients until mixture is crumbly. Spread over apples.

Bake for 1 hour.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
