Moist Whole Wheat Banana and Walnut Bread recipe
such as canola oil, walnut oil
ripe and mashed
chopped, or chocolate chips, or a combination of both, optional
Preheat oven to 325℉ (160℃) (165 degrees C).
In a large bowl, whisk oil and honey together.
Add eggs, and whisk well.
Stir in bananas and vanilla.
Mix in flour and salt.
Add baking soda to hot water, stir to mix, and then add to batter.
Stir in chopped walnuts.
Spread batter into a 9x5 inch loaf pan coated with cooking spray or greased with butter.
Bake for about 60 minutes.
Cool on wire rack for at least 40 minutes to 1 hour.
Slice the bread and serve.
