The dark molasses and all the spices made this sensational gingerbread, and everyone at the dinner table raved about how yummy it came out. Great recipe.

Directions

Blend together the first 7 ingred. and stir in the boiling water.

Mix in the unsifted flour. Dissolve the baking soda in 2 tablespoon of hot water; add to batter. Pour into a greased 8×8×2 inch cake pan. Bake 30 min. at 350℉ (180℃).
