In a large bowl, whisk together whole grain flour, whole wheat flour, sugar and salt until well mixed.

In another medium bowl, add the eggs and milk, and whisk until well blended.

Preheat a 10-inch skillet over medium hight heat until hot.

Pour about ¼ cup batter into the hot pan.

Tilt pan to spread batter to cover pan evenly.

Keep cooked crepes warm under a clean towel until all the crepes are made.

Mix warm applesauce with cinnamon if needed.

Place each crepe on a plate or a cutting board, spread about 2 tablespoons applesauce onto crepe, spread evenly to coat the crepe.

Roll it up, repeat until all the crepes and applesauce are used up.

Crepes are one of our most-loved breakfasts, it's fun to make, and it's so versatile to assemble. We can pretty much put whatever we want as filling. Sweet, savory, or any leftovers can be also delicious filling.

These 12-grain crepes were super healthy and tasty, no problem to eat them for breakfast every morning, a good reason for me to get up!
