Basic Whole Wheat Muffins recipe
With most 12 grain flour and whole wheat flour, these crepes come out super healthy with great nutty flavor. Fill these warm crepes with jam, fruits, or even savory filling such as sauteed vegetables or leftover cooked meat dishes. They are great at any time of the day, breakfast, lunch or supper.
I use a bit more flour, let the dough rest in the fridge for 1 hr., and shape these into logs instead, brushing with egg wash and sprinkling with a little granulated sugar. I then bake them for 17 minutes. After cooling in the sheet pan for 5 min., I cut them into squares.
Very good, made this omelet sandwiches for breakfast, and I really liked it. Quite easy to put together, and it tasted delicious. I drizzled some hot sauce before eating it over the lettuce, yum!
