Directions

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Stir in bell pepper and jalapeño (if needed) and cook, stirring frequently, until softened, about 4 minutes.

Stir in tomatoes, chili powder and salt and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.

Stir in brisket, gravy, molasses and brown sugar, stir well.

Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes to meld flavors.

Warm the buns and serve on top of the buns.
