This simple but hearty dish is perfect for those who have just gotten through the door after a long work day.

Ingredients

¼ cup margarine
or butter
1 ⅓ cup rice
instant, uncooked
½ cup onions
minced or 2 tb instant chopped onion
cup green bell peppers
minced
2 each garlic
cloves, minced or 1/4 ts garlic powder
8 ounces tomato sauce
can
7 ounces clams
can, minced, drained
5 ounces chicken
can, cooked

Directions

Heat margarine in large skillet and lightly brown rice, onion, green pepper, and garlic. Add remaining ingredients along with 1½ cups water, and mix well. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
