Directions

For the fritters, combine in order given: egg, milk, sugar, baking powder, pineapple, butter and flour.

Add pineapple to batter last.

Drop a tablespoon at a time into hot deep fat.

For the sauce, combine and cook until clear.

Pour over fritters.
