Nuwave Meatloaf
A simple meatloaf topped with cheese that can be made in advance using your Nuwave oven. 1.1k
Ingredients
1 | pound |
ground beef, lean

1 | cup |
bread crumbs, whole wheat

3 | tablespoons |
dehydrated onions
|

3 | tablespoons |
water
hot |
|
1 ½ | teaspoons |
cajun seasoning
|
* |
1 | large |
eggs
lightly beaten |
|
3 | slices |
cheese slices, processed
|
* |
⅓ | cup |
ketchup
|
Directions
In a small bowl, add the dried onions and 3 tablespoons of hot or boiling water. Set aside to re-hydrate.
In a mixing bowl add the ground beef, bread crumbs, cajun seasoning, lightly beaten egg and the re-hydrated onions. Mix together thoroughly.
Add the meat loaf mixture into a loaf pan. Press down to shape. If making ahead, turn out the loaf, wrap in aluminum foil and freeze until ready to use.
Fresh
Turn out the meatloaf onto the one inch rack of a NuWave or FlavorWave oven.
Bake on high for 10 minutes.
From frozen
Bake on high for 14 minutes.
Fresh and Frozen
Cover with foil and cook an additional 5 minutes.
Remove foil and top with slices of cheese and spread with the ketchup.
Cook an additional 3 to 4 minute until the cheese has melted.
Serve.

Just got my new wave oven and can't wait it use it. Tonight it's homemade pizza and tomorrow it's meatloaf ! I will definitely try this recipe!

Processed cheese and dehydrated onions? This is an insult to meatloaf. Dishonor on you, dishonor on your cow.
