Directions
Precook 9" pastry shell for 5 minutes at 425℉ (220℃).
Turn down oven to 350℉ (180℃).
Cream butter and sugar, add syrup, eggs and vanilla.
Mix well, then add pecans.
Pour into prepared crust and bake in 350℉ (180℃) oven until filling is firm, about 40 to 50 minutes.
Cool before cutting.
