Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet)

1 large eggs
well beaten
¾ cup milk
low-fat
cup canola oil

Directions

Mix ingredients together, and fill muffin cups ¾ full.

Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees

AWFUL! This recipe doesn't even deserve the one star. I made it exactly like it said to and it turned out horribly. There was not nearly enough wet ingredients to absorb the dry - the result was a sticky, doughy, gummy, floury mess of a batter (if you could even call it that). At the end of the 15 mins. the muffins hadn't browned at all so I left them in for another 6 and even after that they had not browned, were pale in colour, and were wet and doughy inside. Also, rather that yielding 12, I got 9 small muffins, and that was a stretch. In all, a waste of time, ingredients, and clean dishes. Terrible recipe!

I think this recipe needs some vanilla extract added to it
