Directions

Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃).

Grease and lightly flour a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.

Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in medium-sized bowl.

Beat butter and sugar in another medium-sized bowl until light colored.

Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla.

Stir in flour alternately with bananas and milk. Mix in a ⅔ cup chocolate chips, and nuts if using.

Pour batter into pan. Arrange remaining chocolate chips on top of batter.

Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes.

Run knife around edges and remove bread from pan.

Cool completely on rack.
