Directions

Add brown sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon in a large bowl, stir until mix well.

Add plums, lemon juice, and butter.

Stir until well blended.

Transfer into a shallow 3-quart glass baking dish .

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Add sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and ½ cup almonds in a food processor, process until almonds are finely ground

Pour in egg and pulse until well blended.

Place flour mixture over plum mixture evenly, pulling some plum wedges up for presentation.

Sprinkle remaining ¼ cup almonds evenly over cobbler.

Bake cobbler for 40 to 45 minutes, until golden and bubbling.

Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.

Serve warm, at room temperature or chilled.
