The use of an air fryer gives the chicken nuggets a satisfying crunch while keeping them light and delicious, making for a tasty and guilt-free treat.

237 ml crackers
mixture, crushed

Directions

Cut the chicken breast into 1 inch (2 1/2cm) chunks and pat dry with paper towels.

Prepare cracker mixture: Use about 6 each of regular salted crackers, cheese crackers, Champagne crackers and 1 piece of dried toast.

Run through food processor until thoroughly crushed.

Add seasonings and pulse mixture. Place mixture in a small bowl.

Melt the butter.

Dip chicken in butter and roll it in crumb mixture to coat completely.

Air-fryer chicken nuggets

Place the nuggets into the air-fryer in a single layer, air-fry at 375 for about 10 minutes or until you achieve a golden browned crispy coating.

Oven baked chicken nuggets

Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 400℉ (200℃) for 10 to 12 minutes.

Serve with two or three sauces and French Fries.

Sauces:

1) Heat ¼ cup liquid honey.

2) Heat any barbeque sauce.

3) Heat ¼ cup honey and add 2 Tb of Heinz 57 sauce.

4) Quick Sweet 'n Sour sauce: ⅛ cup vinegar ⅛ cup brown sugar ⅛ cup ketchup ⅛ cup orange juice with 1 tablespoon cornstarch, stir, and heat in microwave until thickened.
